Virgins

Two blokes from Virgin have just left. We still have Sky phone & broadband.

Apparently the records -at- Virgin show that this house has had it before
so they turned up expecting to have almost nothing to do. This is not
the case - there's no Virgin box or cable to be found, nor is there a
't-box' in the pavement out the front. So now we have a wait while
someone turns up to mark the pavement and then someone else turns up
to dig where he marked and then someone else turns up to put cable in.
Not all on the same day, of course... likely to be a fortnight before
the pavement gets dug up and goodness knows how long before the rest
of it gets sorts. In the meantime our contract with Sky ends on 11
Aug...

As Susie very eloquently put it "Bollocks. Double bollocks."
