Never a truer word was spoken... My ex-missus didn't understand how I
could go home and sleep when our #2 Son had meningitis, she soon did
when she looked deader than he did the next day.

I came back to do the day shift and was right as rain :-)

Mrs JayGee says I can have one of these...

I hate to be utilitarian, but it is true that the motorcycle
is no longer of necessity an open door into fairyland.
Sordid people construct it, buy it and use it for
their own disgusting purposes, such as saving time or
money or extending the scope of their contemptible
chafferings.

Someone on the Olympus mailing list posted this:

onoma_Mendocino_Coast/Van_Damme_State_Park&image=3D_MG_3026sqoof20.jpg

Which inevitable led to a few "euwww!" type comments, which in turn
produced this response:

"No, that's quite beautiful, you vertebrate chauvinist.
I sooooo tired of people who'll donate to 'save the koala' because
they're cute and cuddly (oh no they aren't) but wouldn't lift a finger
to save an endangered slug.
Shame on you sir."

Just thought I'd share that.

On the subject of animals with a bad press, did anyone else see the
camel dissection on telly last night? I found it fascinating.

The VFR750, it will do 60ish but not the way I ride it. Unless you
meant which TDM in which case the 850.

No idea what the SV does but its not a lot.
